Hey everyone, I've been following Katie Britan's case since it first came up, and something that puzzles me is the location she was last seen—Brawley, California. I don’t have any personal connection to the area, but I did a bit of digging and found out that Brawley is a fairly small town. With a population of around 26,000, you’d think there wouldn’t be a lot of places someone could disappear without a trace. It's surrounded by rural areas and desert land, which might complicate things a bit, but still. Does anyone know if there are particular challenges the police might be facing with the geography there? I’m thinking maybe the open space could both help and hinder search efforts. Just speculating here... Appreciate any thoughts or insight. Stay safe, everyone.
