Has anyone else been looking into the weather conditions on the night Michael went missing? I've been digging through some old resources, and it seems like there was a pretty heavy downpour that evening. I can't help but wonder if the rain might have played a role in why he hasn't been found. With the current and river levels rising, maybe it would have been harder for authorities to search effectively at the time? It might not just be a matter of drowning but also what the rain did to the search area. Does anyone know if they considered this during the initial search, or are there any local folks who remember how the river looked around that time? It seems like a crucial detail that could've impacted the investigation.
I can't seem to get this out of my mind. Has anyone else looked into the cab company that dropped off Michael at the mill on 10/14/2000? I wonder if they have records of other drop-offs or pick-ups around that time. Maybe the driver noticed something unusual or saw someone else near the area. Would love to hear thoughts, especially if anyone familiar with how cab companies tracked their rides back then might have insights. It's just strange how clear the timeline is until that drop-off, then nothing.
