Has anyone else looked into Wesley Joseph Burton's phone records around the time he vanished? I can't stop wondering about that last phone call he made on October 25, 2000. Who was he speaking with, or was it just a routine call? If it was something significant, maybe it could give us more insight into his state of mind or whom he was planning to meet. Given that no further details emerged after this call, was any effort made to trace who was on the other line, or did it lead to a dead end? Sometimes going back to the basics might reveal something overlooked. It feels like this case needs a fresh set of eyes, or maybe someone knows something and hasn't come forward yet. Just curious if anyone has thoughts or additional info on this angle.
Thought I'd share something that's been on my mind about Wesley Joseph Burton's case. So, I stumbled upon an old article mentioning a gathering event held a few years after Wesley went missing. It was organized by some local community members who were really trying to keep the spotlight on cases like his. It's interesting how these community-driven events, even if they're small, can keep conversations going when it feels like everyone else has moved on.
I'm curious if anyone knows more about whether these kinds of events still happen around Worcester for cold cases today? It's been over two decades, and I wonder if there's been any renewed efforts or initiatives in recent years. Sometimes grassroots movements can shake things up and even bring out new info or witnesses. Anyone from the area recall attending or hearing about these efforts? Would love to know more.
