I've been following Arthur Lee Kohn III's case, and it really struck me how quickly things can take a tragic turn over something as seemingly mundane as a road incident. I can't stop thinking about how a routine day just spiraled into a life-ending confrontation for him. It's deeply saddening to think about his family and the fact they had to endure not only losing him but also going through the long legal process to see some justice served. I've been reflecting on what Lapeer County Prosecutor John Miller said about Smith having multiple chances to deescalate. It's haunting to ponder how a few different choices could have changed the outcome entirely. I hope this case can remind us all to think twice before letting anger get the better of us on the roads. My heart goes out to Arthur’s loved ones. They’ve shown incredible strength throughout this ordeal.
