I've been thinking a lot about how deeply Michael K. Collins, Sr.'s passing must have affected his children. Losing a parent is incredibly tough, and in a way so violent and sudden, I can't even begin to imagine the pain. It's heartwarming to know that he was survived by his children and a grandchild on the way, but also equally sorrowful knowing they have to navigate life without him. Michael seemed like such a vibrant part of their lives, and I hope that they can find comfort in their memories of him. His famous greeting, "say somethin," must echo so strongly in their hearts now. It serves as a reminder of the kindness and spirit he shared with everyone around him. How are his children coping these days, I wonder? Has the community come together to support them? I hope they have all the help and love they need during such a trying time.
