Has anyone else come across details about the weather conditions on the day the Arctic Rose sank? It seems crucial to understand what George and the rest of the crew might have faced. I've been trying to piece together what the seas were like in that area off the northwest of St. Paul Island at that time, but information is scattered. If anyone has insights or knows where to dig for weather reports from that period, I'd really appreciate it. It's those little details that could provide a better picture of that tragic day.
