Hey everyone,
I’ve been following Collin Goodman's case, and I can't stop thinking about his love for traveling, especially to California. It's so incredibly tragic how life was cut short for him. I’ve read how his trips were something he truly cherished, making memories with his dogs and girlfriend. Just trying to imagine what he hoped for his future makes this loss even more palpable.
Does anyone know if there have been any memorials or tributes dedicated to his passion for travel? It would be touching if the community could celebrate his life in a way that aligns with what he loved the most. Sending strength and love to his family, friends, and everyone who knew him. It’s so important that we keep talking about gun violence and advocating for safer communities — Flint deserves better.
Stay safe, everyone.

Hey everyone, I've been following Collin Goodman's case, and one detail that's been on my mind is the role James Lara played before he turned himself in. Does anyone know more about what led him to surrender? It's a small relief to hear that he did, but it makes me wonder about the circumstances. Was there some kind of intervention or maybe pressure from family or friends? It's often hard to grasp what goes through someone's mind in such situations.
My heart goes out to Collin's family, especially his girlfriend, Lainie. It must be incredibly difficult to process everything while the legal proceedings unfold. I hope the community continues to support them. If anyone has more info or thoughts, I'd love to hear them. This case brings up so many questions about accountability and justice.
I've been following the discussion on Collin Matthew Goodman's case and wanted to bring up something that’s been on my mind. Have any locals noticed if the area where Collin was shot has seen any increased police presence or community action to combat gun violence since the incident? It’s devastating that it took such a tragic event for this to gain attention.
The fact that one of the suspects, James Lara, turned himself in is surprising to me. I wonder what his motivations were. Was it pressure from the community, guilt, or fear of being caught? I feel for Collin's family and friends. They deserve answers and justice for such a terrible loss. The more the community stays involved and vigilant, hopefully, the safer it can become for everyone living there. Stay strong, Flint. Community outreach and mutual support are crucial right now. ?
