Does anyone else feel like this case really highlights the importance of community support systems? It's incredibly difficult to process how someone could do this to their own grandparents. It breaks my heart to think about what Jesusa, or "Sue," went through in her last moments. I know the Ocean Springs community has been rallying together since this tragedy, but it makes you wonder what more we can all do to prevent such senseless loss. Could neighborhood watch programs or more frequent wellness checks for our elderly loved ones help make a difference? We need to keep having these conversations so that no family has to endure such a devastating loss again. Also, kudos to the Ocean Springs Police Department for their thorough investigation and commitment to justice. ❤️
