I’ve been following the case of Brandon and Gilbert Woodis and can’t shake off the eerie nature of having a family friend like McLain suddenly turn violent. It’s so chilling to think that someone who was trusted enough to stay in their home could become a threat. I imagine it must be incredibly tough for the Woodis family to process that betrayal along with their grief. I hope they find some sort of peace as the case progresses. It’s a harsh reminder of how mental health issues can sometimes manifest so unpredictably and with tragic consequences. How do you ever really move past something like this when the person responsible is someone whom you once considered safe?
