I’ve been thinking a lot about the housekeeping staff who discovered Varnasia and Myron at the Motel 6. It must have been incredibly traumatic for them to find such a scene, not to mention the emotional toll it must have taken on them. I truly hope they were given the support and care needed to process something so distressing. And then there’s the family and friends of both Varnasia and Myron who must’ve been left reeling from all of this. Tragedies like this ripple out and affect so many people in unexpected ways. My heart goes out to everyone touched by this terrible event. Has anyone heard if there were any local efforts to provide counseling or community support after this incident? I hope the community wrapped its arms around everyone who needed it.

They were just doing their jobs, and then they found themselves thrust into such a devastating situation. I hope they received the support and counseling needed to process what they experienced. We often focus on the direct victims in these cases, rightly so, but the impact ripples out to those indirectly involved as well. Such a sad situation for everyone touched by it.
