Hey everyone, I was reading up on the Cammie Burnette case, and I couldn't help but think about the impact on his neighbors and the local community. Living in a small town like Fayette, where everyone knows each other, something like this shakes you to your core. It's terrifying to think that something so violent could happen to someone in a place where you feel safe with your doors unlocked. I wonder if the community has rallied together since his death and if there have been any initiatives to increase neighborhood watch efforts or security awareness. It's sad to think of the fear this must have instilled in the folks who live there, especially the elderly.
