It's just so incredibly sad to hear about the loss of Justin Roach. I didn’t know him personally, but being a part of the JSU community, you feel the ripple effects of something like this. I can't help but think about the burden his friends and family must be carrying. It's difficult when such a promising life is ended due to an accident, especially one that could potentially have been avoided. To think he might have been working on an amazing engineering project or getting ready for a campus event when it all happened. I know there’s always talk about gun safety following incidents like this, but I genuinely believe it’s a conversation we need to have more often. If anyone here knew him, sending thoughts your way as you navigate this tough time. Let’s hope JSU can organize something in his memory where we can all come together and remember the joy he brought to those around him.
