I can't stop thinking about how brave Mikylah was during this entire ordeal. Being just 10 years old and handling such a traumatic and terrifying situation with such maturity is truly remarkable. I can't imagine how overwhelming and frightening it must have been for her, trying to stay calm in the face of such danger. It's amazing that she was able to use her phone to communicate with the authorities and provide them with the information they needed. Her actions undoubtedly saved lives that day, including her own. It’s heartening to know that the Itawamba County Sheriff's Office recognized her bravery. My thoughts are with her and the Blackburn family as they navigate through this immense tragedy.

Did anyone else read about the incredible bravery shown by Mikylah during that awful situation? I'm just in awe of how composed she was at only 10 years old. To think she managed to keep in touch with the authorities and actually helped them understand what was going on in such a tense moment—it's almost unbelievable. I can't even imagine being in her shoes, facing all that turmoil and fear. Just goes to show how important it is to stay calm and collected in crises, even when it's so scary. Sending lots of love and strength to Mikylah and the rest of the Blackburn family as they heal. Their community must be so proud of their young hero.
