I've been thinking a lot about the timing of the event that unfolded during that summer night in July 2019 when Mr. Seals was tragically taken from his family and our community. It’s puzzling how something so horrific could happen in the relatively peaceful town of Collins. Given that the incident took place at 10:30 p.m., I've wondered if that was a deliberate choice by the perpetrator(s). Could it be that whoever did this knew that Mr. Seals would be home alone at that hour? Or maybe they aimed to take advantage of the darkness and quiet, assuming fewer people would be out and about to potentially witness the crime. It's deeply unsettling to consider how someone would plan such violence against a man who was so respected among us. I hope the investigators can untangle this enigma soon, and I stand with Mr. Seals' family as they continue to seek the answers they need. Has anyone else been following the details around the murder of WJ Seals? I’ve been thinking about the fact that the crime scene didn't yield any solid evidence. It's so frustrating to imagine how hard it must be for the investigators working tirelessly, hitting brick walls at every turn.
