Hi all, I've been closely following this tragic case, and something that's been on my mind is the impact that it must have had on Wanda’s brother, Doaby Jackson. Can you imagine being the one to find your sibling like that? It must have been absolutely devastating for him. My heart goes out to Doaby and the rest of Wanda’s family. From everything I've read, Doaby has been such a rock throughout the investigation. It's a crushing reminder of how the ripples of violence extend beyond just the victim to affect so many lives. I really hope the sentencing brings some semblance of closure to him and the family. Can any of you share how families typically cope after something so traumatic? What supports are usually available? Sending strength to everyone touched by this case ❤️ Stay safe, everyone.

Did anyone else notice the inconsistencies in Sanders Williams Jr.'s claim of self-defense? I've been digging through the details, and several things just don't add up. How could he claim self-defense when the evidence shows multiple shots and the gun hidden under her pillow? It makes me wonder about his mindset during the incident—did he plan on using that self-defense angle all along? It must be excruciating for Wanda's family to hear such contradictory statements after losing her in such a violent way. Sending thoughts to them during what must be an incredibly difficult time. Does anyone have more insight into his past behavior or their relationship? Was there any indication that something like this could happen?

I'm thinking a lot about the timing of Sanders Williams Jr.'s plea deal. The fact that it took almost three years for this case to reach a resolution is really striking. I can't even begin to imagine what it must have been like for Wanda's family to wait all that time, wanting justice for her. This must have been such a difficult period for them, filled with countless court hearings and reliving the details of that dreadful day. I wonder if this delay in proceedings is common or if there were specific reasons in this case. In any event, my heart really goes out to them, and I hope that this upcoming sentencing brings them some measure of peace and closure.
