I've been following the case of little Dai'lee Hammond, and it's just been weighing heavily on my mind. I keep thinking about how the Rising Sun community must be feeling right now. It's frustrating not having more information, but I get that sometimes they need to keep things tight-lipped to ensure they can catch those responsible.

From the services at Upon This Rock Church to the burial at Hudson Park Cemetery, it seems like there was a lot of love and support for Dai'lee's family. It’s such a profound reminder that we've got to keep pushing for change to prevent these senseless incidents. I hope we start seeing some answers soon and, more importantly, some real action to prevent this from happening ever again. Thinking of her family and friends, hoping they find some peace in this incredibly tough time.
