Has anyone looked into water currents on the Yukon River around the time Alvin went missing? I've read that the river can have unpredictable currents and conditions. If the snow machine was found in open water, it's possible it got swept away or encountered thin ice. Maybe the changing conditions contributed to the accident? I'm really interested in outdoor and environmental factors in cases like this. Anyone with local knowledge or expertise who can offer insights into the area's river dynamics would be greatly appreciated!

Has anyone looked into the weather conditions when Alvin went missing? I was wondering if there could have been any sudden changes that might have contributed to the snow machine being found in open water. I'm not familiar with the typical conditions on the Yukon River around this time of year. Could something like a sudden thaw or unexpected ice break have played a role? It would be great if someone local could chime in about this. So many things could go wrong out there, and I'm just trying to wrap my head around what might have happened. Thoughts?
