I'm really saddened by the reminder of Roosevelt Wiley’s case. The loss his family must continue to feel is immeasurable. I’ve been thinking a lot about how the Englewood community has tried to heal from these tragedies. The area has endured so much heartache, and I know there have been numerous grassroots efforts to foster peace and resilience. While law enforcement interventions have been crucial, I believe it's those community-driven programs that play a key role in creating lasting change. If anyone has updates on what community organizations are doing now or needs suggestions on how to support their work, please share. Keeping Roosevelt’s loved ones in my thoughts.
