Hey everyone, I've been following Dominique Blackmon's case closely, and it's really hitting me hard thinking about the community impact. I mean, Dominique was just 21 years old. What's challenging is how the cycle of violence keeps affecting so many young lives, particularly in neighborhoods on the South and West sides. Does anyone have thoughts on how community programs or initiatives have evolved since then to address these issues? It seems like there should be more awareness and initiatives to tackle the root problems, like socio-economic disparities and gang violence, that led to tragedies like this.
