Hey everyone, I've been following the Richard "Rick" Elton case and something's really puzzling me. I was reading about how his remains were finally discovered back in January 2022. It's got me thinking about the survival gear found near him. I mean, if someone did harm him, why would there be personal items left with him? Were they planted to mislead, or did Rick take them with him, thinking he’d return soon? It's spooky to think he might've been out in those woods and that whoever is responsible was so close to getting away with it this whole time. What do you all make of the personal belongings found with him? Could they be clues to piece together what happened? ?
