I've been following the Cameron Smith case and I'm absolutely stunned by the level of violence involved. It's really difficult to wrap my head around how someone can just snap and commit such a horrific act. What got me thinking was the role of marijuana store policies in this tragic event. I understand the importance of strict ID checks, but was there any security protocol in place for handling potentially aggressive individuals who get turned away? It's just so worrying that a situation like this escalated to such a deadly encounter. My heart goes out to Cameron's loved ones, who seem to be pushing for changes that could prevent something similar from happening again. I hope their efforts bring some comfort and change. Does anyone know if there's been any legislative movement since the family's petition to allow firearms near these stores?
