Hey everyone, I’ve been thinking a lot about the senseless violence that took Devon Greer's life back in 2012. It’s tough to wrap my mind around how someone could fire shots through a window and not care who might be inside. Devon was just playing video games with his brother—something so normal and innocent—when his life was stolen in such a horrific way. This incident happened during a really violent weekend in Chicago, and it makes me wonder about the families of other victims too. I can’t imagine how it must feel for Devon’s family to lose him like that, especially knowing that so many other families were going through the same pain during that time. Just heartbreaking. It really makes me wonder what more we can do to address the root causes of this kind of violence, so other young lives aren't lost too soon. My heart goes out to his family and friends, and to all the others who have been affected by similar tragedies. What are your thoughts on how communities can band together to tackle the issues leading to this violence?
