Has anyone looked into the security camera situation in Tom Brown Village? With the rise in violence, you’d think cameras would be more prominent in public housing areas. If they were in place, they could potentially capture crucial footage. Antwon Hawkins' family deserves every possible lead in this senseless act of violence. East Birmingham is a tight-knit community, and losing a member in such a tragic manner affects everyone deeply. It's imperative that we, as a community, push for better surveillance to not only help solve this case but also to prevent further tragedies. Rest in peace, Antwon. My thoughts are with his loved ones.

I can’t stop thinking about the impact this tragedy has on Antwon Hawkins’ family and the entire community. It's so jarring to know this happened right on a public sidewalk where people walk every day. The fact that it was in Tom Brown Village, a place that's supposed to be a community, makes it feel even more unsettling. It’s hard to imagine the fear and shock the residents must be feeling, especially those who heard the gunshots. My thoughts are with Antwon’s loved ones and everyone affected by this senseless act. I sincerely hope they find some solace and that justice is served swiftly.
