Wow, this case is puzzling. I recently read about Barry's situation with the Argo at O'Brien Creek, and it got me thinking about the dangers of crossing those strong waters. Has anyone ever tried crossing near that area before? From what I understand, the Copper River can be incredibly treacherous with strong currents. I'm curious if there have been other incidents in the past at this spot. It's just so baffling how quickly things can go from routine to disastrous. What do you guys think could be done to make these crossings safer? Any ideas about what might have happened here?

Hey everyone, I’ve been following the discussion about Barry's disappearance near O'Brien Creek and wanted to bring up something that’s been on my mind. Has anyone considered the possibility of Barry trying to hold onto the swift current as a last-ditch effort? In emergencies, people sometimes do things instinctively, and he might have thought it was the best chance to reach safety. It’s hard to imagine the terror he must have felt, and I can't stop thinking about how disorienting it might have been for him in such a rushing creek. Also, does anyone know if there are any other reports of the creek conditions during that time? Would love to hear thoughts on why he went for the swim instead of trying to stay with the Argo. Stay safe, everyone!

Hey everyone, I have a question about Barry's disappearance at O'Brien Creek. Does anyone have experience or knowledge about river conditions in that area around the time he went missing? I've read that the currents can be unpredictable, and I'm wondering if there might have been any recent weather changes or anything else that could have made it more dangerous for him. I know this kind of info might help understand what happened. Any insights would be much appreciated! Thanks!
