Has anyone else been looking into the neighborhood where Anthony Jr. Hobson lived? I've been trying to understand if there were any preventive measures or community programs in place around the time of his death. It seems like his story is another tragic reminder of how vital it is to have strong support systems within these communities. With so many young lives at stake, I'm curious if there were any efforts to address gun violence specifically in his area back then. Anthony's family, like so many others, must be going through unimaginable pain. It just makes me wonder how many of these tragedies could have been avoided with better resources and community engagement. Thoughts?

Does anyone have any updates on Anthony Jr. Hobson’s case? It seems like his story got lost among the alarming numbers of similar tragedies. I came across his name while reading about the 2014 surge in Chicago homicides, and it struck me just how much his family must still be struggling with his loss. Each one of these victims is more than just a statistic, and it’s important to remember them as individuals whose lives were unjustly cut short. I’m curious about the efforts for justice and any community response or movement that might have emerged around his case. Are there local groups or initiatives that have since started addressing the root causes of such violence? It’s terribly sad that so many families in Chicago have endured similar pain, and I’m hopeful that there are organizations out there working toward meaningful change in his memory. If anyone has more info or knows where to find updates, please share.
