I’ve been following the case of Forrest Boren Jr., aka "Os," and I wanted to highlight something that’s been really bothering me. It's frustrating how little coverage missing Native American men like Forrest receive. It’s as if their disappearances don’t matter as much, and it’s truly an injustice. Forrest went missing on October 16, 2020, in Santa Ysabel, and there hasn’t been much media attention since. His family has been doing all they can to keep his name out there, mainly through social media. They even held a candlelight vigil on the anniversary of his going missing, but it feels like their voices aren’t being heard loud enough. What bothers me is how often these cases fade into the background. We need to keep talking about Forrest and others like him. It’s our way to support their families and keep the search alive. If anyone stumbles upon new information, the San Diego County Sheriff's Office is still on the case. Please keep sharing, discussing, and searching for answers.
