Reading about Edwin Bartheld's case gives me the chills. It seems like it's straight out of a mystery novel with the ghost town setting and the old mining ties. I can't help but feel for his friends and family, especially the friend who found him—what a traumatic discovery that must have been. The whole thing just seems eerie with those explosive materials found in his home. You've got to wonder what he was doing with all that stuff. The fact that the authorities haven't disclosed a motive yet keeps me on edge. Even though they've ruled out foul play, the circumstances are certainly strange. It makes you think about how little we actually know about the people we live around, particularly in such isolated places like Turret. It's puzzling how this will affect the community, small as it is, having this tragic and unusual incident associated with their area. Any thoughts on why someone his age would have that kind of setup? It's baffling and really makes you reflect on the complexities of human life.
