Has anyone else been wondering about the deputy's role during this tragic incident? It's unsettling to think about a domestic dispute escalating to the point where law enforcement officers are injured. Clearly, tensions were sky-high, and things went horribly wrong very quickly. I can’t imagine how terrifying and distressing the whole situation must have been for Morgan's family, the neighbors, and even the responders. It's tough when what seems like a peaceful community such as Guffey has to face such violence. I'm curious if the deputy tried to intervene during the altercation and what procedures were followed to ensure his safety in a situation that was already so tense. Sending love and strength to everyone affected by this terrible event.
