I've been thinking a lot about the aftermath of the Capulin tragedy, and my heart goes out to the families involved. One thing that really sticks with me is the incredible resilience of Don "Kinki" Martinez. His ability to survive such a terrifying ordeal and still be here today is nothing short of a miracle. It’s a stark reminder of how quickly life can change—one moment you're celebrating with friends, and the next, you face unimaginable horror. Despite his survival, Martinez's road to recovery seems incredibly challenging. The fact that he managed to get away from the scene and call for help shows immense strength and bravery. But I'm worried about the financial burden he's now facing due to his medical expenses. It’s so unjust that a victim should have to deal with such hardship on top of the trauma he's already endured. Does anyone know if there have been any community efforts or fundraisers to help Kinki with his bills? It seems like it would make a huge difference if we can rally around him and his family, offer support, and remind them they're not alone in this. If anyone has information or ideas about how we might assist, it would be great to share them here.

It's hard to imagine what must have been going through Lupe Cervantes' mind when he extended such kindness to Santos Nevares by inviting him to his home. Despite the troubling interaction at the bar, Lupe still saw fit to include him in their celebration. It speaks volumes about his generosity and willingness to see the good in others. It is devastating to think that such openness and warmth led to this tragic event. There's something profoundly upsetting about someone using another's kindness as a weapon. My heart truly goes out to the Cervantes family, who've suffered so unimaginable a loss. They're in my thoughts during this unimaginably difficult time. Does anyone know how the community has been supporting them?
