Hey everyone, I wanted to bring up something that’s been on my mind regarding the Martinez case. With the school community being so close-knit, it's just devastating to think about how this affects all the kids at Alamosa Elementary. I'm trying to wrap my head around what the teachers must be going through—losing not just one, but two students like this. ? I've heard the school deployed a crisis response team, but I can’t help but wonder about the long-term impact. These are classmates and friends who might be struggling to understand why this happened. How do you even begin to explain something so unimaginable to children? If anyone is local, do you know of any additional resources or support systems being put in place for the students and teachers outside of what the school is doing? It just seems like they'll need all the help they can get to process this. On a side note, the GoFundMe for Gabe Martinez really shows the community coming together in such a difficult time. It's heartwarming amidst such sadness to see so many contributing to help support him. Sending love to everyone impacted. ❤️
