Hey everyone, I’ve been thinking a lot about Jordan Sinden’s case recently, and one thing that struck me is the role community spaces like the Gateway Motel might play in such tragic events. It's so gut-wrenching to think about a place intended for rest and respite becoming a scene of violence. I can't help but wonder about the circumstances that drew Jordan and Dennis Gist there that day and what more could be done to ensure safety in public spaces. Seeing how Jordan's life was deeply intertwined with his community through his early involvement in the Boy Scouts and his work at Collinwood Assisted Living, it's clear he made a positive impact on those around him. It’s heartbreaking that his life was cut short in such a senseless manner. My heart goes out to his family and friends during this unimaginably difficult time. Has anyone else thought about the role of community settings in cases like this? It’s such an essential part of trying to make sense of this tragedy. Stay safe, everyone.
