Hey everyone, this has been on my mind: has anyone looked into whether any local businesses around Far Rockaway have security footage from the day Eric Sanders went missing? I know it's been a long time, but sometimes businesses keep old tapes, or there might be archived footage somewhere. Even if it's a stretch, it could give us some clues about where he was headed after meeting with "Jerry" or what happened to his car. Has anyone tried to reach out or know of anyone who might've tried to check this avenue? Any input would be greatly appreciated!

I've been going through Eric Sanders' case, and something that's been bugging me is the abandoned car situation. Does anyone know if the police ever tried to lift fingerprints from the car? I mean, if he was meeting this "Jerry" guy, you'd think there might be some evidence or prints that could be useful, right? It's just odd to me that they found his car in Far Rockaway but nothing about what they found (or didn't find) inside it. If anyone has any insight on whether they thoroughly checked the car for clues, I'd really appreciate it. It just feels crucial to figuring out what actually happened that day. Thanks!
