Wow, I still can't get over this case. I'm struck by how the community came together to support Garfield Thomas's family throughout this long trial process. Even though the investigation took years, the focus never went away—everyone wanted justice for him. It’s devastating to think about the loss to his family and friends. They must have been through so much anguish, waiting for answers and eventually a conviction. I'm hopeful that the sentencing will provide some sense of closure, though I know the pain of losing a loved one can never fully heal. Does anyone know if there has been any mention of how Garfield’s family is doing now, or if there are any community events planned to honor his memory? Sending lots of love to all those impacted by this tragedy.
