Have any of you guys been following the Jeury Batista case from Malden? I can’t stop thinking about how devastating this must be for his family. The fact that Mastouri and Espada were tracked all the way to California really shows the lengths law enforcement will go to bring justice. I saw somewhere that a lot of these investigations hit roadblocks when suspects cross state lines, so it's a bit of a relief they managed to get this far. I do wonder, though, what the motive could have been. Does anyone know if there's been any information released about why Mastouri and Espada were allegedly involved? It just seems so senseless, and I'm hoping more details will come out soon that might provide some closure for those who knew Jeury. Keeping his loved ones in my thoughts during this difficult time.
