I keep thinking about the bravery of Sergeant Nicholas Bettano during that awful day in Winthrop. He stepped in when chaos was unfolding, with Nathan Allen posing an immediate threat and having already caused so much devastation. It takes a particular kind of courage and presence of mind to react the way he did, especially with innocent lives at risk. It's important to acknowledge how his swift actions likely prevented further tragedy. My heart goes out to David Green and Ramona Cooper's families—they've shown incredible strength facing such senseless violence. Bettano's actions during those critical moments were heroic and undoubtedly saved lives, reminding us that bravery can shine amidst unimaginable darkness.
