Hey everyone, I was just reading about the disappearance of Elton Joseph from Lucerne Valley. I couldn't help but think about the desert environment he walked into. It seems like such a dangerous and unforgiving place, especially if you're unprepared. Does anyone know if there were any adverse weather conditions reported around December 11, 2016, in that area? Extreme heat or cold could be significant factors in survival out there. Desert searches are so challenging, and I'm wondering if weather could have hindered search efforts at the time. Hopefully, someone has more insights or local knowledge about what the conditions were like. It might be helpful to piece together more of this puzzle.
