Hey everyone,
I've been following Larry Mell's case since it happened, and something that really struck me was the location where it occurred. Highway 38 seems like such a random spot for such a tragic event. I’m just wondering if there’s anyone from the Drain area or familiar with Highway 38 who can share what the traffic is normally like there? Is it usually busy, or is it more of a quiet, off-the-beaten-path kind of place?
It’s just bizarre to think about how Mr. Mell ended up being targeted there, and maybe understanding the area better could help us piece together what might’ve happened. Were there any significant events or gatherings around that time that could have drawn attention? Sometimes local insights can shed light on details outsiders might miss.
Thinking of Larry's family and hoping they get some answers soon. Would love to hear thoughts from the community.
Hey everyone,
I've been closely following the tragic case of Larry Eugene Mell, the 72-year-old gentleman who was shot along Highway 38 near Drain, Oregon. Something that's been bothering me is the lack of information about any surveillance footage in the area. With this happening on a highway, you’d think there might be some cameras from nearby businesses or traffic cams that could offer clues.
Does anyone know if authorities have checked or mentioned anything about reviewing such footage? It seems like every little bit could help in piecing together the events of that night. My heart goes out to his family and friends who are surely struggling with this devastating loss. Any shred of information could bring them a step closer to getting the justice they so deserve.
Stay safe, everyone, and please, if anyone knows anything, consider reaching out to law enforcement. Every piece of the puzzle matters in bringing closure to this case.
