Does anyone else find it odd how little information there is about Robert Ruiz Jr. and Zacery Ellias Aparicio's last whereabouts? It's like they vanished off the face of the earth, and no one saw a thing. Odessa isn't all that big, so the lack of sightings or tips is puzzling. I came across some local news archives, and they barely mention them. It's as if this case got lost in the shuffle. I understand the families might be private, but it always makes me wonder about the effectiveness of law enforcement efforts in less-publicized cases like this. If anyone from Odessa is on here, did you hear anything around May/June of 2018? Sometimes even the smallest detail can be crucial.
Has anyone else noticed the lack of media interest in the cases of Robert Ruiz Jr. and Zacery Ellias Aparicio? It's really puzzling. Both went missing around the same time in 2018, but there's so little out there about them. I came across the NamUs entries just recently, and it's like their stories only gained some form of "official" recognition years later in 2021!
Odessa isn't a huge place compared to other cities, so you would think there'd be more noise, especially since their cases are linked. Is it just that these cases flew under the radar, or could there be more to why we're not hearing much? It would be great if more people could spread the word. Keeping the awareness alive could lead to more people stepping forward with information. Just a thought I wanted to put out there.
Hi everyone,
I've been following the cases of Robert Ruiz Jr. and Zacery Ellias Aparicio, who both went missing from Odessa, TX around the same time in late May/early June of 2018. Something that stands out to me is how little media coverage there has been for these two young men. So often we see cases blow up in the media, and it really makes you wonder why some get attention while others don't.
It's unfortunate because increased awareness could really bring forward someone with crucial information. If more eyes had been on Robert and Zacery's cases from the start, maybe we'd have more leads by now. I know both families are desperate for answers, and the limited media spotlight can't make it any easier.
Just putting this out there in hopes that by discussing it here, maybe more people will become aware and feel compelled to look into it or share it further. The more people talk about Robert and Zacery, the better the chance at uncovering the truth.
Wishing both families strength and hope for a breakthrough. If anyone has thoughts on how to get more awareness for such cases, I'm all ears.
