I've been following Brenda Romero's case, and I can't wrap my head around how little traction it seems to be getting. I came across her NAMUS listing (MP84569) recently, and it struck me how there's so little public outrage or awareness. I think the lack of media attention is a huge barrier to finding answers. Platforms like Uncovered are doing great work in bringing more eyes to cases like hers, but it feels like it's not enough. I wish there were more community events or campaigns to keep her story alive and to pressure for more active investigations. If anyone knows of any ongoing efforts or has ideas on how we can help amplify her case, please share!
I've been following Brenda Romero's case for a while, and I can't help but wonder about the role social media could play in finding her. With so many people connected online, why isn't there more widespread sharing of her story? I know efforts have been made on sites like Uncovered, but maybe we could all pitch in by sharing a bit more on our own networks. Getting her info out there on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook might just reach someone who knows something but hasn't realized it's important. It's frustrating to see such a lack of media coverage for Brenda, so maybe it's up to us to amplify the message where we can. What are some effective ways you've seen social media used for missing person cases? Let's brainstorm and try to help in whatever way we can.
