I've been thinking about the impact of this case on the children involved, both the young one who accidentally caused the commotion and Patrolman Potts' own kids. It must have been unimaginably difficult for them to process everything that happened that day. For Patrolman Potts' son, what was supposed to be a day of celebration turned into a lifelong memory of loss. It's heartbreaking to realize how moments like these can change the course of young lives. They're often the silent victims, carrying the weight of events they barely understand at the time. My heart truly goes out to all the families involved, and I hope they've found some peace over the years.
