Has anyone else been struck by the short amount of time Chief Burr Robertson had been with the Harrison PD before this tragic event? It's like he was just getting settled in and then this happens. With over 20 years of law enforcement experience, you'd imagine he'd seen it all, but still, being shot as part of serving a warrant must have been such a shocking situation. I can’t help but think of his family, uprooting their lives for his new role, only for it to end so abruptly. I’m wondering if there are more details about how the department and community coped with two such devastating losses in such a short span.

Does anyone else feel that Chief Robertson's transition from California and Colorado to small-town Arkansas might have influenced how he approached his job? It's so tragic to think about how he was only three months into his role in Harrison before this awful event. It must have been such a shock for his family, moving and then losing him so suddenly. The community also seems to have endured a lot, especially with losing two officers in such a short span. I wonder how the department and the town coped with this second devastating loss. My heart goes out to Chief Robertson's family and the Harrison Police Department during what must have been an incredibly challenging time.
