I can't stop thinking about the bravery of Deputy James Harper. Imagine responding to a call like any other day, never expecting it to be your last. It’s moments like these that remind us how much law enforcement officers risk every day to keep us safe. My heart goes out to Deputy Harper's family—his wife and his four beautiful children. They lost a husband and father, and the community lost a dedicated officer. It makes you wonder how someone could so viciously cut down a person who dedicated his life to protecting others. Let's honor his memory by supporting his loved ones and acknowledging the sacrifices made by those who wear the badge. We owe them our gratitude and respect.
