I've been following the Barfield case and wanted to bring up something I've been thinking about. Does anyone have any information about the Barfields' pets? I know they were quite fond of their dog, Daisy. Sometimes, it's the little details that paint a fuller picture of someone's life. It makes me wonder who took care of Daisy after the tragedy, or if she was also in the house when everything happened. Pets often have such a strong bond with their owners—it can't be easy for them either. Losing both Rosie and Quincy like that must have been incredibly distressing for Daisy. Maybe someone in the Mountain View community stepped up to help? It's details like these that can be so overlooked but mean so much to those around them. Keeping the Barfields' loved ones, and Daisy, in my thoughts.
