I've been reflecting on the unimaginable pain the Copeland family must be going through after the tragic incident on October 23, 2019. I can't even begin to picture the emotional turmoil Curtis Copeland must be experiencing since accidentally taking his own son's life. This kind of event is hard to wrap your mind around, and it reminds me of how unpredictable life can be. I just wanted to share a bit about how the community has really come together for them. I've heard about the support from local folks around Bismarck, and it's truly touching to see the love enveloping Brooke, the boys, and the rest of the family. They've set up a GoFundMe to help ease some of the burdens during this challenging time, and it’s a great example of how we can rally for one another when tragedy strikes. If anyone here knows of other ways to support the family or plans for any community events, please share. It's these small gestures of kindness that can sometimes help lift a bit of the weight off those going through such testing times. Sending all my thoughts to the Copeland family and everyone affected by this tragic accident.

Hey everyone, I've been reading through this case, and what really stands out to me is the impact on Curtis Copeland, Scott's father. I can't even begin to imagine the mix of emotions he must be feeling—losing a son in such a tragic way and being involved in it. It sounds like this was a terrible accident with no malicious intent, but I wonder how someone moves forward from something like this? The fact that the community came together to support Brooke and the kids is heartwarming, but Curtis must also be going through a personal hell. Does anyone know if there are resources or support groups for families dealing with accidental shootings? It seems like he would need a lot of emotional support for the road ahead. Thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Copeland family. ?

I've been following the Copeland case, and my heart goes out to the family, especially to Scott's father, Curtis. I can't even begin to imagine the emotional turmoil he must be experiencing. Mistakes happen in the blink of an eye, but living with the aftermath is something no one should have to endure. I hope the community continues to offer their support and understanding to both Curtis and the rest of the Copeland family. It's essential to foster a space for healing, compassion, and forgiveness in such an unfathomable situation. ? If anyone knows of ways to lend a helping hand to the Copeland family beyond the GoFundMe, please share. They shouldn't have to walk this path alone.
