I just can't shake the feeling of sadness every time I think about that night in Van Buren. I saw an interview with a neighbor who was visibly shaken, talking about how they'd always see Paiden playing with Grayson in the yard. It's hard to imagine what could lead to such a devastating outcome when on the surface they seemed like a loving family.
What really sticks with me is the detail about the bullet going through the wall and hitting the neighbor's headboard. The randomness and proximity of danger like that must be terrifying for those neighbors. Even if they didn't know the family well, they were literally inches away from becoming victims themselves. I hope they’re getting the support they need too. It's such an unsettling reminder of how close these tragedies can hit to home—even for those who aren't directly involved.
Sending thoughts to everyone affected by this, especially the friends and family. It’s hard to comprehend the depth of their grief, and I hope they find some peace in the future.
I’ve been following the case in Van Buren, and it’s just left me feeling devastated thinking about the young family. I was really struck by the details about the neighbors hearing the argument and gunshots that night. It’s terrifying to think about how close the neighbors came to also being in harm's way with bullets hitting the other side of the wall. It must have been absolutely terrifying for them.

Does anyone know if there are any support or counseling services being offered to those affected? It’s so important that neighbors and friends get the help they need too.
