I’ve been following the case of Darrian Threets-Wiley, and I'm particularly struck by his ambitions and the bright future he had ahead. I read that he was planning to study Mechanical Engineering at UALR and was part of the STEM program, which isn't an easy feat. It’s just so awful to think about all the potential that was lost in this senseless act. I’m sure he had dreams and goals he was looking forward to achieving. My heart goes out to his family and friends who must have been so proud of his accomplishments. Let’s not forget his story and keep pushing for justice. It's important that we remember him for the promising young man he was.
