I find myself thinking a lot about Cameron Shaffer's story and how truly unfair it is. Imagine attending an event meant to bring people together and suddenly being caught up in something so horrifying. It’s gut-wrenching to think about the potential Cameron had at only 23 years old, now impossibly lost. I can't begin to imagine the pain his family and friends must be experiencing, not to mention others who were injured or traumatized that day, especially the young children. It's shocking how quickly a moment meant for unity can turn so chaotic. I hope it serves as a wake-up call for all of us to look after each other and take a stand against this kind of senseless violence. My heart goes out to everyone touched by this tragedy, and I truly hope justice is served for Cameron.
