It’s one thing to read about such a tragic incident, but when the violent act is captured on video and shared across platforms, it’s a harsh reminder of the reality of gun violence. The community's horror is just unimaginable. My heart goes out to Aureanna Hernandez’s family, especially her young child. I can't even begin to understand the pain they're experiencing, knowing that this moment was shared so publicly. It's important for us to remember the person she was outside of this awful moment and not let the horror overshadow her memory.
