I've been following this case closely and my heart goes out to the families of Osnaider Silveira and Junior Alastre. It’s so awful to think about how they came here with hopes and dreams, only to face such horrific violence. I wanted to talk about the courage of the woman who was in the car during the attack. I can't imagine the terror she must have felt, having to beg for her life in such a dire situation. Her quick thinking and strength are truly commendable, and it’s tragic that she had to witness such a brutal incident involving her loved ones. I hope she’s receiving the support she needs as she navigates through this traumatic experience. It’s important for us as a community to stand by her and the victims’ families during this difficult time.
