Does anyone else find it odd that Blas Palache's van wasn't found at the usual spot by the Sacramento River after he went missing? Being homeless, it seems like his white Chevrolet Astro would have been relatively stationary, especially if it was his main place of shelter. It's strange that there are no reports of the van being found at all. Did it vanish with him? Could it have been towed, stolen, or moved somehow? If anyone is familiar with the area, was it common for vehicles parked long-term near the river to go unnoticed or be left unclaimed for a while? This might've been a potential lead, and I hope the authorities have explored this angle thoroughly. Any thoughts?
Has anyone else noticed how little information there is about Blas Palache’s movements in the days before he went missing? It’s like he just vanished without a trace, and there aren’t any concrete details about what he was doing or who he might have been with. I’ve read through what little info is out there, and it's frustrating. For someone to just disappear like that seems so suspicious, but there's nothing to go on! Does anyone know if there were any surveillance cameras in the area around where his van was parked by the river? It seems like that could potentially offer some kind of lead or at least narrow down the timeline a bit. Just thinking out loud here, hoping someone else might have ideas or insights worth exploring.
Hey everyone,
Just came across the thread about Blas Palache, and I can't help but feel there's an interesting angle to consider regarding his van. I know it's been years, but has anyone looked into whether his white Chevrolet Astro might have been spotted or even sold around the time he disappeared? Sometimes vehicles get reported in different towns if they're sold or involved in other situations. I mean, if someone did take it or if it's still around, that could be a huge clue. Also, anyone local to Tehama remember seeing the van parked somewhere different or being used by someone else? Just thinking out loud here—I hope it helps in some way.
